The Akasha Metaphysical Film festival is a place where spiritual, supernatural, and transcendental films find a home. This Festival presents quality, cutting edge films that promote higher universal consciousness, understanding and global communication. These films have the power to take us beyond our ordinary senses into a world where fantasy, science, and reality can merge, acting as catalysts to open us up to compassion and insight.  Preferred themes include the supernatural,spiritual, ceremonial, cultural, extraterrestrial, healing, transcendental, new Age and others. Documentaries, shorts, animation, experimental and feature films are all welcome.

We are looking for student films that look at spiritual, metaphysical, supernatural, phenomena, extraterrestrials, healing, transcendence, culture, philosophy, indigenous beliefs, and more created by students while they are, or were, attending school.
 
MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The Metaphysical film festival brings film, music, art together in a celebration of the supernatural, spiritual and transformational potential of film.

Please look at specific category rules for general information. Shorts are between 30 sec. and 59 minutes, and features are between 60 minutes and 140 minutes. Please submit original work.
